Dear colleagues,
Abstracts can now be submitted for the HFES Europe Chapter Annual
conference in Sheffield, UK (8 - 10 November 2006). Central theme is
Human Factors Issues in Complex System Performance
Abstracts are invited on topics closely related to the broad theme of
complex human work*, for example:
- Performance in complex systems
- Workload management
- Psychophysiological assessment
- Work design
- Training issues
- Automation and system design
- Planning and decision making
- Transportation
* Other topics will be considered if they are consistent with the broad
topic of the Meeting.
Presented papers and posters will be published after the meeting. It is
planned that the best papers will be selected for publication as a themed
book; other papers and abstracts will be published as proceedings on the
Europe Chapter website.
The keynote speaker will be prof. Neville Moray who will give the lecture
The Evolution of Human Factors in Complex Systems: A Personal Review.
Europe Chapter meetings are open to all who are interested.
