Apologies for cross-postings...

Dear Colleagues
The planning for and response to our conference "Imagine There's No
Countries: Inequality and Growth in the Age of Tourism" (Eastbourne 22-23rd
June 2006) has been really good.
We have accepted papers on colonial travel writings by Americans in India,
tourism and household inequality in Cambodia, conflict-tourism and Muslim
countries, 'saying no to tourism', gay tourism and sexual behaviour in
developing countries, Southern Africa and community based tourism etc. etc.
At present all regions seem to be represented as do most angles on
development.
I urge you to join us for this event and help progress these paradoxical
discussions!
As a reminder, the abstracts are due in 'NOW" and the early bird
registration closes on April 15th.
All the best to you and looking forward to seeing you all for another
friendly, informal but academcically rigorous conference in Eastbourne!
Kind regards
Peter Burns
