Seth is a storm god, war god, killer of his own brother, transgressor of
borders, enemy par excellence. His instrument is a weapon which falls from
heaven as a meteor. What would you expect if you called this force into you
life? That is, not as a symbol, not as an intellectual principle, but as a
living reality?
You'd expect shattering, destabilising chaos. You'd expect drastic
disruption. You'd expect most aspects of your life to be violently shaken
to their foundations. And to be able to deal with this as an *initiate*,
you would have to be very much like Empedocles: "an exile from the gods and
a wanderer, having put my trust in mad Strife."
