Yes the current approach is to use the CIC portal to ask the VOs
directly. I do not think this is a very effective solution and I have
several times asked for a better route and method of monitoring.
Unfortunately this goes wider than the UK as often the software managers
are outside our "realm"! Any suggestions or recommendations on
progressing in this area (especially from those within the
VOs/experiments) will be greatly received.

You can send a broadcast mail to VO managers from the CIC portal.
