And just to clarify
> And I do my own thing. I don't fit any of the above.
By saying the above, I don't mean that I work out of a vacuum.
I have a curricula but it's probably not closely related to those who,
say, fought in the wars, and I suspect, mainly from odd review comments
and other things that I get, that most people in the local situation
don't quite see out of where I'm operating. On the other hand, I think
it would be quite obvious to a number of people on this list and others
who know my work through my blog, say, or have read stuff of mine on
the net etc.
I'm not claiming anything special, it's just I'm someone who doesn't
really get comfortable with the Australian templates we've been
discussing. It would be a good thing if there was discussion in
Australia that moved outside those templates - not for my sake, you
could happily leave me right out of it and still get something going,
of course - but I think there may only be one or two people here who
are capable and willing to do that and who could then find a way of
being heard. I have at least one in mind, maybe another.
Cheers,
Jill
