The Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics invites applications for
an associate professor of Italian (we will also consider truly exceptional
candidates at any rank) in Medieval and/or Early Modern Studies. We are
seeking scholars with an established record in the field of book history,
with a demonstrated capacity to win competitive national or international
fellowships and grants, a gift for collaborative interaction, and a
