asylum, a remarkable absence must be noted: that of refugees and asylum
seekers’ own voices. Debates on asylum have recently been dominated by
fear and concerns over security inspired by the July 2005 London
bombings and the human dimension of asylum is often forgotten. The
launch of Positive Contributions: Being a Refugee in Britain, a study
commissioned by Refugee Housing Association (RHA), identifies the
positive contribution and first hand experience of refugees and asylum
seekers through their own voices[...]".
