The World Education Fellowship (WEF, an NGO advisory body to UNESCO) is
holding its 43rd International Conference in Sofia, Bulgaria, August 27 –
September 1st 2006.
The theme is Education for Full Humanity in a Technological and E-learning
Society.
WEF has been at the forefront of the New Education movement worldwide since
1921, pioneering and championing learner centred and collaborative
approaches in education at all levels, with the aim of creating a better
world through the humanity of its citizens.
E-Learning is changing the face of education. But is it a change for the
good? Is e-learning helping learners to become better human beings and
members of society? What evidence is there that E-learning is improving the
relevance and quality of education? If so, how does it do it? What lessons
can we learn?
Details of how to submit papers for refereeing, registration and cost are in
the attached brochure. A selection of papers will be published in The New
Era (WEF’s refereed journal) and / or a book of themes from the conference.
If you cannot respond yourself, please pass this notice to others who might
be interested.
John Stephenson
Emeritus Professor
Middlesex University
United Kingdom.
