"The southernmost university in Oceania provides a unique vantage point
from which to consider the current debates in Development Studies and to
promote the dialogue that is necessary to chart a firmer future. Such a
dialogue can only succeed if it is truly inclusive of perspectives from
the Global South. The aim of this three-day get together is to bring a
variety of perspectives to bear on the intellectual and policy
challenges faced by scholars and practitioners in the field of
development."
1.2 Call for Papers
===================
The Organising Committee now calls for paper proposals for this
Conference. Ideally, papers should address one or more of the panel
themes listed below, but the organisers will consider any paper proposal
with a clear development focus.
To be included in the programme, abstracts of papers should be e-mailed
to [log in to unmask] before or on 31 May 2006.
Confirmation of acceptance will be distributed from 30 June 2006.
