Durham University have said they will deduct 1/365th of our pay for all
those participating in the day of action but they will not make
deductions for USS and NI. This should operate on a pro-rata basis for
part time and hourly paid staff. They have agreed that the money saved
will go to the Student Opportunities Fund.

Of course, the fact that the AAG is being held this week will lessen the
impact of the strike as many academics will be in Chicago for the
conference.
