It seems we're doing that, and more:
Working to contract means, inter alia:
* sticking to the 37-hour week norm
* not teaching more than 18 hours in any week
* not working week-ends unless fully covered by time off at 1½
(Saturdays) or double (Sundays)
* taking full holiday entitlement
* taking full RSA entitlement
Boycotting the QAA process means:
* not engaging in any activity associated with QAA Audits including
subject reviews
Boycotting assessment means:
* boycotting examination boards or any meetings with internal or
external examiners to agree marks
* boycotting invigilation of examinations
* boycotting meetings which make recommendations on PECs
* not marking any of the following:
examination scripts
any form of coursework
practical assessments
presentations or demonstrations
validation portfolios
exhibitions
assessments taking place on field trips
PhD vivas
vocational assessments
practice-based assessments
Regarding a previous message it would be very interesting to find out what
this 'legal advice' was, and how it could justify 100% (or any %age really)
!

Forgive my ignorance, but why was action short of strike (refusal to mark
work) decided upon instead of a work to rule? Surely if the later was
followed the universities couldn't threaten any kind of pay deductions.
Thanks
