if not then contact Dr Owen Davies at University of Hertfordshire (unless he
is a watcher here, Owen?) who co-organised a conference in 2000 which
featured in part some of the then current research on Scandinavian Folk
Magic.... I don't have my notes or the flyers for the event to hand but it
featured two female scholars from Scandinavia who may or may not be the same
people you mention
cheers

Subject: Re: [ACADEMIC-STUDY-MAGIC] Charms
Greetings!
I am wondering if there are any on this list who participated in the
"Charms, Charmers and Charming" Conference last September (held at the
Warburg Institute in London)? I thought I saw Jacqueline Simpson's name
here. Is Jonathan Roper here is well? Specifically, are Ritwa
Herjulfsdotter Andersson or Ulrika Wolf-Knuts here? I am working on a
dissertation here at the University of Washington, Seattle on
svartkonstböcker (Black Art Books) and would like a better idea of recent or
current projects on the Swedish Charming tradition.
