Agreed ......attachments are a pain.. As a moderator of other lists I've
found the best policy is to ban attachments. It doesn't take a techie genius
to open a word document and cut and past the relevant content into the body
of an email message. And I agree websites are the best place for putting
long documents and pdfs.
I have also tended to set the reply to option to "reply to list" most people
(after a vote on one of my lists) prefer this and it makes people think
before hitting the reply to button for fear of publicly denouncing Joe
Bloggs when you only wanted to tell your best friend what you think of him.
