I don't know what a thoroughly far-Left govt would be. I am however inclined
to think that few or no govts get it right or wrong. And I recognise your
equation of losing sense and going further right....
Myself, I'd put the mid point of sanity away from what is called mainstream,
mor etc - an ex Tory minister given a place in the lords claimed recently
that Hitler was a socialist to prove his point that only socialists are
bad...
Sometimes there is clarity - a vox pop from Bolivia on world service this
morning had a man saying we dont like this man because he wants to take
money from the rich & I thought ok we are at least here in the same
universe, no nonsense about generation of wealth, preservation of tradition
Anyway, I must get back to my plans for St Piran's day
