Workshop: Introducing LAMS V1.1
The LAMS Foundation is pleased to announce two half day workshops on
Friday February 17th in London on LAMS V1.1 (the next generation of open
source LAMS). The morning workshop is a general introduction to LAMS
V1.1 for both educators and technical staff; the afternoon workshop
provides a more detailed technical introduction to LAMS V1.1 for
software developers and others who are interested in technical issues.
The event is being hosted by London Knowledge Lab, with an introduction
from Professor Diana Laurillard.
The workshops will be run by Ernie Ghiglione from Macquarie University -
Ernie is the technical lead for LAMS, and works closely with James
Dalziel on translating educational requirements into the technical
development of LAMS. Ernie has extensive technical and project
management for education open source projects, including OpenACS/.LRN
and LAMS.
