Which raises another issue. Where there was one photograph, there
will be more. But possibly disappearing fast. Any chance of
networking to raise material to the surface, where it can either be
copied and preserved, or straightforwardly deposited in an archive.
The beauty of having material while people are still alive is that
you can explore it with them - they learn, you learn, other people
learn. The whole field gains another level of energy. Or maybe I mean
synergy; but you don't hear that used so much any more.
