Still not built GAIA. In fact the more I try the further the build
regresses. Now I can't even make "./configure -C" work. There is an
undefined PREFIX token. It first showed during "make world" for
tclsys/tclx.
rlsul1.bnsc.rl.ac.uk> ./configure -C
configure: loading cache config.cache
checking for java... (cached) /stardev/java/jre-1.4.1_06-ix86_Linux/bin/java
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... (cached) yes
checking whether ln -s works... yes
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating Makefile
configure: configuring in applications
configure: running /bin/sh './configure' --prefix=%%PREFIX%% '-C' --cache-file=../config.cache --srcdir=.
configure: error: expected an absolute directory name for --prefix: %%PREFIX%%
configure: error: /bin/sh './configure' failed for applications
Now I'm sure if I avidly read SSN/78 it will tell me what to do, but I
shouldn't have to.
Tell me that these tclsys upgrades will be rare events...
