EPUNet Research Visits offer the opportunity to access the European Community Household Panel survey data at one of four ECHP National Data Collection Units in order to work on a short research project and thereby assess the relevance of the ECHP database for further research. The units are:
- CEPS/INSTEAD: the Centre for the Study of Populations, Poverty and Socio-Economic Policy (Differdange, G.-D. Luxembourg);
- DIW: the German Institute for Economic Research (Berlin, Germany);
- ESRI: the Economic and Social Research Institute (Dublin, Ireland);
- ISER: the Institute for Social and Economic Research (University of Essex, Colchester, UK)
The duration of a visit is normally between two and three weeks. Grants cover travel and subsistence costs.
Deadline for proposal submission is February 15 for visits to be scheduled any time between March 15 and May 31.
