You could try this link, some of these courses may offer the option of studying individual modules rather than the whole course. However. I can state that in my case having the post graduate qualification has certainly helped me in my work and career.

Not sure what level you are looking for, but TFPL, Cimtech, and ActNow
provide said training; you may also wish to have your colleague take a look
at the new AIIM Electronic Records Management Certificate Program. While its
focus is on ERM, it nevertheless does cover the basics of records management
(e.g. what is a business classification scheme, how do records differ from
non-records). Full disclosure: I am an instructor for that program here in
the US. There are also a number of university programs if that would be
applicable, including Edinburgh, Liverpool, Glasgow, and others - search
Google on "records information management university uk".
