Hi Kate,
Not sure what level you are looking for, but TFPL, Cimtech, and ActNow
provide said training; you may also wish to have your colleague take a look
at the new AIIM Electronic Records Management Certificate Program. While its
focus is on ERM, it nevertheless does cover the basics of records management
(e.g. what is a business classification scheme, how do records differ from
non-records). Full disclosure: I am an instructor for that program here in
the US. There are also a number of university programs if that would be
applicable, including Edinburgh, Liverpool, Glasgow, and others - search
Google on "records information management university uk".
