Hi Stephen,
I envy your stylish winter. Although it has been a little cooler this
last couple, our summer has been deadly hot and one feels very
non-stylishly wrung out most of the time. Supposed to get to a hideous
35 today but a cool change is expected (she prays 'send it down hughie')
The word petticoat is terrific and I'm glad to have revisited it. I've
never felt p(r)etty, never even entertained the concept, but I did buy
myself a nice shirt with pink stripes recently and felt I got close, in
my own mind at least.
Cheers,
Jill
