******Apologies for cross posting******
The University of Bath Library and Learning Centre has project-funding for
an institutional electronic theses collection. We will need to
ensure that the collection can be used by all of our staff and students,
including the visually-impaired. We are also particularly keen on ensuring
the accessibility of technical and scientific notation (equations).
If you have set-up an e-theses collection, we would like to know if your e-
theses are fully accessible. For example, can your e-theses be interpreted
by a screen-reader or a voice activated software? Which file formats do
you use and is additional software required (e.g. file converters,
browser plugins)?
If you would be willing share your experiences with us, we would be
extremely grateful.
Many thanks,
Peter Bradley / The Library Web Team
