I got some useful help from Derek Ross, and we came to the conclusion
that the new Yaim should abandon half of the new information provider
and now I am almost done, I was going to pull back form the new
information provider by 2pm today if I got no further but Derek sorted
things out.
Steve pointed me to some generic stuff that eased understanding but was
not related.
I am at the moment feeling guilty for still focusing on this issue, but
feel that the information systems are rather poorly done (Site Jeff T
and Steven B). I guess developers and admins attitude is that the other
one should do more than is required and no one has taken ownership of
this issue for some time, hence my initial troubles starting with
Yaimifying this process.
I shall be also providing Dave Kant with example schemers to add new
site functional tests hopefully these will also give admins a test
application so they can check their own system configuration.
So to summarise I am busy until the end of the day cleaning up this
issue but at present it looks like the important features of per VO disk
space reporting will be present and stable in the next release.

Owen
