Senior Research and Policy Liaison Officer
Academic-Related Research Staff Grade 2:
(Salary in the range £ 27,929 - £ 36,959 p.a.)
The Refugee Studies Centre at the Department of International
Development wishes to appoint a Senior Research and Policy Liaison
Officer to assist the Centre with its capacity to link with policy
makers and practitioners. The postholder will be expected to coordinate
policy-relevant research, produce policy briefings, attend relevant
meetings, and develop the practical implications of academic research
undertaken at the Centre. The postholder will also carry out advanced
research of their own in an area of forced migration. Applicants should
possess a doctorate or equivalent qualification and practical experience
working in the field of forced migration. The post is for two years
initially. The closing date for applications is 28 February 2006.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind interested parties
that the RSC is also seeking to appoint a new Director to provide
intellectual leadership to the RSC and play a leading role in
determining the Centre’s overall academic direction, balance of
activities and structure. The closing date for applications is 21st
February 2006.
