Hi there,
when moving spectra around in a window using the mouse (middle button), I
only seem to get as much freedom of movement as is determined by the limits
of the scrollbars. This is rather frustrating in the following scenario: I
have a 13C spectrum with the top edge at 9.5ppm. The scrollbar for a carbon
dimension appears to be set to terminate at about 0ppm. If I now zoom out, I
cannot focus on a point near the top of the spectrum, move it into the
middle and zoom into it again - instead I end up zooming in, moving the
spectrum down, zoom in, moving the spectrum down again etc. It rather
defeats the point of having the nice mouse zooming/spectrum moving tool.
Any chance that one of the following could be implemented:
(a) the scrollbars are such that there is at least 1/2 the sweepwidth of
space at either end/side of the spectrum
or if that is too complicated
(b) simply enlarge the limits for each dimension to something like -40 to
300 (13C), -10 to 20 (1H), 80 to 180 (15N) (or even make them an option
which people can set to what suits them).
Thanks,
Vicky
