Information policies for all to see.
Improvements for all to feel.
As a public body, anyone can ask to see just how well we're protecting and improving the environment in England and Wales. Our Information Management team is on-hand to ensure everyone across our business is aware of how to comply with the Data Protection Act, the Public Records Act and the Freedom of Information Act, and supports the sharing of information to help us get on with what we do best - looking after the environment.
Records Policy Advisor
£26,057-£29,610 Bristol
You'll oversee and advise on the use of record management policies and procedures, which show the life-cycle from creation to deletion - keeping us efficient and legally in the right - to selecting and transferring important historical records for future use. You'll advise, explain and support where needed, auditing and setting standards as you go. Ideally, you'll have a records management qualification and at least two years' experience in government or the private sector, preferably working on a large scale.
As well as an important role in the largest environmental agency in Europe, we offer excellent training and development, contributory final salary pension scheme (with life cover) and generous holidays.
