Just to clarify that the Postgraduate Research session at this year's RGS-
IBG conference is jointly sponsored by the Postgraduate forum.
The purpose of this session is to review and stimulate innovative
postgraduate work that promotes the application of quantitative methods in
geographical research. The session will encourage a diverse range of
methodologies and research topics that may include, but is not restricted
to, the use of spatial statistics, spatial modelling, geocomputation,
Geographical Information Science and Remote Sensing.
Research papers may discuss any area of quantitative geography, although
the following themes are particularly encouraged: spatial analysis
applications; socio-economic modelling; computational developments in
spatial science; accuracy, complexity and uncertainty; spatial statistics.
