Good bloody God.
Even if you had gone in there and shot your mouth off, that would have been
a reaction violent in the extreme. You say they were the actual employees?
What worse can they do if someone gets a knife out?
But how can they 'make it formal'? Put in a complaint, in writing, to the
Almighty about your actual existence?

Hey, Patrick, I was not trying to be a spoilsport, your snaps I find good
fun, that's ok by me. What I was, and am, bothered about is the why and why
again of poetry, it might have something to do with a matter that I have
been attacked, verbally and phyiscally, and I mean that latter, I was
assaulted on Sunday night, for being:
a poet.
Not just a poet but apparently a good one: that's what seems to piss some of
Da Heavies off, it seems my aestheic insults their comfortable sense of
mutual mediocrity. When I say physical assault I mean it: I was pushed to
the floor, hit in the face, my drink was thrown across the bar, and this was
in a so-called arts centre, for the crime of being me.
This was by employees who are funded by the Arts Council.
The Vixen wants to hit them over the head with her zimmer, me, I just wanted
to have a quiet word, but, no, they've made it formal. They are going to
regret that.
Down with Cretinism.
Best
Dave

Hi Davey your email reminded me of if I can remember my 1962 Danish åæø
En de tisse på en andens sukkermad
Which very roughly translates
One who pees upon anothers sugarcake
Wonderful what have we in English for that__ spoilsport seems thin

I'd agree, Randolph, about Jill's snaps, they are beautiful. My point was to
stimulate debate about aesthetics and purpose, I think the various comments
have been rewarding, I liked Lawrence's in particular.
