Here's some Dartmoor examples I've surveyed if it's any help
Eylesbarrow(Ailsborough) Tin Mine had 3 long flatrod runs built between c1815 and 1851, the longest being 1192m and powered by a 50ft wheel
Caroline Wheal Prosper had a flatrod of c700m, built in the 1850s and powered by a wheel of around 30ft and Wheal Emma had an 840m run built in 1858 and powered by a 46ft wheel. This latter wheel was said by an observer in the MJ to have turned a 'half-summersault' on one occassion when the rods and bobs gave way because the wheel wasn't up to the job.
Hexworthy Mine has two runs of between 500 and 600m and Huntingdon Mine has a run of about 600m.
