Best practices in sharing data

This one day conference on 17 March 2006 is organised by Economic and
Social Data Service (ESDS) as part of ESRC Social Science Week. The
conference brings together a range of natural and social science
research communities to discuss data sharing policies and initiatives.
Speakers from the Research Councils and successful online data access
services will provide an insight into achievements and opportunities.
ESDS will be launching its range of best practice guides on key aspects
of sharing and management prepared for the Medical Research Council
(MRC) and for the large scale cross-council Rural Economy and Land Use
Programme.
