The next meeting of the SWERN User Group will be taking place on Wednesday
18 January 2006 at the University of Exeter in the Veitch Room, Reed Hall,
10.15 am for 10.45 am.
A marked up copy of the agenda is available from:
http://www.ex.ac.uk/~campbell/swernug/180106/agenda180106.html
This includes links to relevant papers - especially the minutes of the last
meeting and the latest SWERN operational report. Please bring your own
copies of these if required - a few paper copies will also be available.
Please note that the talk from Josh Howlett has had to be postponed as he
is unable to attend. We are very fortunate that Andrew Cormack (UKERNA) has
stepped into the breach at very short notice. He will be talking about
"Information Security Management Systems - a trailer using extracts from
the new UKERNA course on using the UCISA Information Security Toolkit"
which it is thought will be relevant to everyone.
Please ensure that the secretary Ann Siswell <[log in to unmask]>
knows that you are coming so that we can book sufficient places for lunch.
I look forward to seeing most of you on Wednesday.
Ian
P.S. Note to Andrew C - the minutes linked to here have been altered a
little since the ones I sent you earlier.
