Public Health Strategy Manager (Cardiovascular Disease), Ealing PCT

Circa £30,000 - £39,000 per annum inclusive

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute at the leading edge of
developments in cardiovascular disease in Ealing. The purpose of the role is
to have strategic responsibility for cardiovascular disease in Ealing,
covering all aspects of it, from primary prevention through to
rehabilitation. This will include securing the implementation of the CHD
National Service Framework, working with the CHD Network and other local
partners, taking lead responsibility for smoking cessation services for the
PCT and overseeing the development of the Diabetes National Service
Framework.
Ealing PCT is one of the largest PCTs in London, serving an ethnically
diverse population of just over 300,000. We have a strong commitment to
public health principles and reducing inequalities. We have good working
relationships with local voluntary and community groups, our local NHS
Trusts and the London Borough of Ealing. We are seeking to appoint a
high-calibre, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join a strong
multi-disciplinary team which is part of the NW London Public Health
Network.
