The inaugural Global Events Congress will be hosted by The University of
Queensland and held in Brisbane, Australia on September 27-29. For this
year, the Congress will be held in conjunction with the Event Educators'
Forum which is in its third year. This international event is an excellent
opportunity to draw industry practioners and academics from a variety of
fields (e.g. tourism, sport, economics, marketing, sociology, public
relations, hospitality, business, management, history advertising,
psychology, performing arts etc) who have an interest in the practice and
research of events.
