in case you've not found it there is section on "guides to metadata" on
the CETIS MDR website at http://metadata.cetis.ac.uk/guides/ .
I think all those mentioned in other replies are included there, but I'm
always on the look-out for new ones to add (especially to the
Cataloguing Guidelines section: anyone got any they have made public and
would like to share?)
