Whoops, looks like this sneaked through the cracks. (We were in London
that day so I probably read this at night and the problem with doing that
is that I often forget to re-read in the morning.)
I'm not sure I understand the problem correctly. It sounds like you have
a 3D data set and all (or a lot of) the planes are being shown. You can
change the number of planes being shown by dragging the mouse on the z
scrollbar (the one at the bottom) with the middle mouse button down. It
will get as small as one plane wide (for the smallest such amount amongst
all spectra shown on that window).
