Dear All
As you have no doubt seen via EGEE broadcast and 1 minute later on
TB-SUPPORT (which suggests Stephen took 1 minute to read it!), 2.7.0 has
now been released.
For the UKI ROC we would like the upgrade to take place over the next 3
weeks as per the original EGEE targets. However, for those scheduled to
undertake transfer tests as part of the ongoing preparation for Service
Challenge 4
(http://wiki.gridpp.ac.uk/wiki/Service_Challenge_Transfer_Tests), please
give priority to the transfer testing. Please could all sites also
ensure that information here:
http://wiki.gridpp.ac.uk/wiki/Service_Challenge_4_Site_Status is
correct and details under the site page remain up-to-date.
Problems and issues surrounding the 2.7.0 release will be covered in the
UKI monthly meeting next Tuesday:
http://agenda.cern.ch/fullAgenda.php?ida=a057657. Please note that we
are still using VRVS and it is a good idea to check your setup before
the meeting. For those new to VRVS (www.vrvs.org) the application is
simple to install on your desktop and works best with a headset.
Many thanks for your support,
Jeremy
