Dear all,
this has just gone round the Italian Studies list, but
is relevant to German graduates as well.
Debbie
Dear Colleagues,
The Trinity College Dublin MPhil in Literary
Translation
(http://www.tcd.ie/Arts_Letters/translation) is in its
second year,
and has already attracted students from six countries,
including
Italy. We will soon be considering applications for
2006/07.
This month, Trinity is launching a new Master's
course in
Comparative Literature, due to start in October 2006.
Details of the Comparative Literature MPhil can be
found at our web
site (http://www.tcd.ie/Russian/complit) -- although
the site is not
yet quite complete, and there are already a few
glitches to be ironed
out. (I'm still struggling with Dreamweaver.)
We hope that the course may be of interest to language
graduates
generally, and we would be most grateful if you could
bring it to the
attention of potential students. In this inaugural
year, we will be
accepting late applications, but we would like to
start selecting a
first batch of students next month. Potential
applicants are very
welcome to contact the Course Director, Sarah Smyth
([log in to unmask]).
Many thanks,
Cormac O Cuilleanain
Senior Lecturer
Department of Italian
Trinity College, Dublin 2, Ireland
