The University of York has embarked upon a major redevelopment of its
website. Two new posts have been created which offer exciting opportunities
to play a key role in this ambitious project.
Web Content Officer. Ref: AH06168
You will be supporting departments in the migration of their web pages to a
new Web Content Management System. You will have strong information
architecture expertise and well-developed interpersonal skills. In addition,
experience of training would be an asset. You will have proven
organisational ability and be an experienced problem-solver.
Web Content and Design Officer. Ref: AH06169
You will be supporting departments in the migration of their web pages to a
new Web Content Management System. You will also work with departments on
the development of web templates to ensure adherence to the University`s
Visual Identity and other aspects of branding. Strong web design skills are
required.
Both posts require a degree level qualification, or equivalent experience.
The posts are available for a period of 3.5 years (until 31 July, 2010).
The salary for each post will be within the range: £25,633 - £31,525 per
annum.
