My friend works over in Thailand for the Tsunami Volunteer Centre and
has just sent me this message. It sounds like it would be an amazing
experience for anyone willing to go out there.
(I hope nobody takes offence at me forwarding this on)
***************
Dear people who work in IT and people who probably know people who work
in IT
At the moment, the IT team here consists of two Peace Corps volunteers
and me. The other two are leaving in a few weeks' time. I do not want
to be the IT team!
The TVC are a fantastic organisation to work for and Khao Lak is a
wonderful place to be. Everybody is lovely and everything is good. And
very very cheap cheap. You don't get paid, but you can live for
peanuts. Actually, you can live on peanuts. They're free in all the bars.
Below is the ad we're about to put out on Charity Job. Please pass this
on to anybody you think may be interested.
Cheers
Beth
