Two RCUK Fellowships/Lectureships in
(i) Infrastructure and Transport Monitoring
(ii) Modelling Engineering Risk
We are currently advertising two Research Fellowship/Lecturer posts in (i)
monitoring of the built environment and transport and (ii) engineering
risk. These post are supported by the Research Councils UK for an initial
5 year period, and thereafter will become permanent academic posts.
Successful applications will be appointed as Lecturers.
The main focus of the first post will be to establish enabling technology
for the modelling and monitoring of civil engineering infrastructure and
processes, including flows (e.g., traffic, pollution, water), monitoring
the health of structures, smart buildings, etc. The second post will focus
on the modelling, analysis and management of risk in a civil engineering
and transport context.
Further details of these post are available at:
www3.imperial.ac.uk/employment/academic/ci0016
Both these posts offer excellent opportunities to develop exciting new
work in the area of transport and I would be most grateful if you would
pass this message onto any potential candidates you think might be
interested.
I would be happy to have informal discussions with any potential
candidates with an interest in transport.
With thanks.
