Achievement, Historical/Cultural Program/Special² at the awards ceremony on
Saturday, May 20. Producers Susan Stryker, Victor Silverman and Jack Walsh
thanked the subjects of the film, the crew and the funders, and later Victor
Silverman said "This is a great honor for us and a real recognition by the
National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences of the importance of
recovering the lost history of transgender militancy." "SCREAMING QUEENS"
