Dear Christina,
I'm having problems posting to the list at present. I only got Sally's
comment on this, so I went to the Works web-pages to see the original post,
and now I'm trying to reply to it, I've lost the poem-text altogether. Sheesh.
Anyway, 2 things occurred to me.
I wondered if you need S3, which seemed to me a generalised thing about loss
and memory that the rest of the poem implies.
Also I wonder if the poem wouldn't be stronger if the relationship between
the narrator and 'her' was specified?
BTW, and this isn't really relevant, why was the Don Quixote so disliked?
Just one of those questions you can ask on a workshop with the author at hand.
Take care,
Margaret
