>He sniggers tosses a baby
>like a discarded doll in the air
>His pistol fires into the target
>repeatedly
>
>We chant Next year
>in Jerusalem Next year
>over and over Freedom
>from bondage We choose
>life
>
>She swings the baton
>like a baseball bat
>The other woman slumps
>lifeless
>
>A new moon smiles
>to greet the new year
>The shofar blares its ebulition
>still
>
>They slam the chamber door
>We hover in our nakedness
>Never forgive Never forget
>Never again A shower spews
>death
>
>Light ignites fire
>the Voice never ravaged
>We kindle eight candles
>Victory
