Digital rights and asset management: access and preservation forum

This one day forum is being jointly organised by CILIP in Scotland and the
Digital Preservation Coalition and is aimed at library and information
professionals who work with digital resources. The forum will explore
whether content is being locked away behind technical protection measures
and ask how we can make content accessible while upholding the rights of
intellectual property owners.
Speakers include Najla Semple, Executive Secretary of the DPC, Barbara
Stratton, Senior Copyright Adviser at CILIP, Alan Rae, Copyright Consultant
for the Association of Scottish Colleges, Simon Bains of the National
Library of Scotland, and Stuart Jeffries of AHDS.
