Dear all,

Invitation to Trial 12 Online Resources at the National Library of
Scotland - 19th Sep to 13th Oct

The National Library of Scotland is carrying out 4 weeks of trials to 12
online resources, covering the Sciences, Arts, Humanities and the Social
Sciences (full list below).

Access to the trials is available within the Library's reading rooms in
Edinburgh, and I would like to invite those who are able to visit the
Library during this period to take part. For those titles we select
following the trials we will aim to provide remote access to users within
Scotland wherever possible, in line with the Library's strategy.

If you are not currently a registered member of the Library you can
register when you visit (see http://www.nls.uk/info/readerstickets/ for
details).

For those of you who are unable to visit the Library to take part in the
trials, we would still value your comments. We would especially welcome
feedback from those of you who have experience of the titles on trial.

For the list of subscribed online resources currently available at the NLS -
a number of which are available remotely - please visit:
http://www.nls.uk/catalogues/online/er/

I hope you will take part in the trials, and I look forward to your
feedback.

Many thanks,

Paul Cunnea
