Scottish Information Network Seminar: Usage statistics - measuring the
value of online resources
July 3rd, 6pm Royal Scots Club, Edinburgh
You are invited to come along to our July 3rd event and hear about how
Project COUNTER is changing the way in which the usage - and perhaps the
value - of information is being considered. With the help of Peter
Shepherd, Project Director of COUNTER and Liz Stevenson, Electronic
Resources Librarian at the University of Edinburgh we'll take a look at
the history behind the project, its successes in engaging with key
stakeholders, and hear a little about how it's shaking things up for
practitioners in terms of measuring use of electronic resources.
This event will take place at the Royal Scots Club, 30 Abercromby Place,
Edinburgh EH3. http://www.royalscotsclub.com/webpages/contact_map.php
Access is free and there will be drinks and nibbles available. This
event has been generously sponsored by Ebsco www.ebsco.com
