Second Announcement, Call for Contributed Papers and Application for
Support for Doctoral Students and Young Researchers
The purpose of this workshop is to identify and discuss issues in
facilitating deliberative e democracy and e participation. It will
involve a mix of invited papers with discussion, contributed papers, lab
sessions exploring the use of group support systems, and a doctoral
workshop. The invited speakers are:
Gene Rowe (Institute for Food Research): Deliberative e-Democracy and e-
Participation
Gwendolyn Kolfshoten (TU Delft): Facilitation
Alec Morton (London School of Economics): Group Decision Support
Duncan Shaw (Aston Business School): Problem Structuring Methods and
Facilitation
The deadlines for submission of contributed papers has been extended to
Sept 18th.
There as a few funds left for support doctoral students and young
researchers. Deadline for application: Sept 18th.
