The Oxford Trust is seeking to appoint a new Head of Public Programmes at
Science Oxford (SO).
SO is the Trust’s cultural centre for science where we are trying out new
ways of engaging the public with science. We are looking for someone who
knows the science communication field very well, who can come up with new
ideas, who knows where and how to find the money to get them off the ground
and who can deliver them with flair and precision. The post-holder will be
responsible for the SO information centre and for the programme of events,
exhibitions and activities for older students and grown-ups both at Science
Oxford and at other venues in Oxfordshire.
This is a permanent appointment – salary will be in the range of £30000
–32000 p.a.
