The place for many different sectors to share ideas and discuss current issues
The platform to explore how we can create access to all sectors of society with the science that affects all of our lives.

NEWS AND UPDATES - KEYNOTE PLENARY PANEL DEBATE
The conference will kick start with a plenary panel debate (Monday 3rd April at 10.30) to address the question: 'Science for all: Is public engagement engaging the public?'. Barbara Myers, the award-winning radio and television presenter and journalist, will chair the debate. The panellists are all high-profile figures from across public engagement, education and research:
- Andrea Bandelli, Independent adviser on international science communication initiatives.
- Dr Derek Bell, Chief Executive of the Association for Science Education (ASE).
- Michele Corrado, Head of Medicine and Science Research at the Ipsos MORI Social Research Institute
- Dr Steve Hill, Deputy Chief Executive at the Environment Council
- Dr Raj Persaud, Consultant Psychiatrist at the Bethlem Royal and Maudsley Hospitals, and Gresham Professor for Public Understanding of Psychiatry.
