Hi,
Does anyone know where I might find some brief info on the history of
public funding for science in the UK.
A Science Research Council was founded in 1965 but I cant find anything
on what happened before that!
Its just for a short blurb for a seminar invitation so I am not looking
for any great tome - but if anyone has info on this - please let me know
thanks
Rachel
